Sponsor a Pet
If you can't adopt or already have your personal limit of enough 
pets, you can still "Sponsor" a pet at the Aiken County Animal Shelter.
It is difficult to have you sponsor a specific adoption. If a person can't afford to pay to adopt an animal, we would have a concern about the ongoing care and our inability to monitor the situation.
However, we have a wonderful Transfer program, where we send dogs up north to prescreened homes through no kill shelters or to no kill shelters that guarantee a good home for our animals.
For all of the spay/neuter, vaccine and transport costs, it averages about $150 a dog. If you would like to make a donation and direct it specifically to the Transfer Program that would go a long way in helping us. We appreciate your thoughtfulness, concern and support of the Aiken County Animals Shelter.
